Peppers Burgers in Oxford

One of the best burger places in Oxford. Amazing foods, lots of options, very decent price, and the owner is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. You can tell he really loves what he does and the taste of his food is a testament to that. Definitely recommend. Also, make sure you try the fries.

This is an absolutely delightful place for Burgers. I enjoyed a wholesome and filling Lamb Burger during one of the lunches during my Oxford Trip and thoroughly enjoyed the flavours. The Bangladeshi origin owner is a fun person to talk too and I had a fun conversation with him which made the experience even better. I 100% recommend this place.

This place is obviously spectacular, the food was out of this world literally lamb mint burger was honestly the best I've tasted. Customer service was so polite even though they were so rushed off the feet...definitely recommend if you want a excellent quality burger.

Maybe it’s just because it’s w Sunday but they could at least replace the lettuce. It opened at 5 I arrived at 6; it couldn’t have gone off that quick! Non-Organic burgers looked well dodge too!

Friendly staff. Nice vibe. Can get busy, but the food is always fresh and prepared in front of you. Customisable burgers. Veggie option too. Highly recommend.

A gem of a burger shop tucked away in Jericho. Offering a wide selection of meats with many options (salads, sauces etc.), this shop is a must try. The price is reasonable and the quality is high- matching some of the gourmet shops. They also sell chicken wings which are tasty.

The burgers taste like cash and carry burgers rather than homemade. So expensive for what is nothing better than burger van food .Also they dont take card payments.

Peppers is the best burger place in town. I always get the chicken burger and it is always delicious but they are very flexible in their menu- they have many options of meats, sauces and salads to choose from. Portions sizes are big, with regular chips being too much for me. The owner is really friendly and funny. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting in the area, or even just the local residents. Very pleased indeed!

We order for 4 people at lineae fisheries, Not joking the burgers are like rustler burgers and alls we had was 2 burgers 2 kebabs 4 chips and it come to 37quid, couldn't believe it, won't be going again!

Best burgers in oxford no shadow of a doubt

WOW! what an experience! Jericho itself is a lively vibrant posh nosh place but Peppers look like the main game players here. Amazing atmosphere from the go, the ques we saw when we got here shows that the food here will be good. We ordered the halal lamb mint burger with the hot white shark sauce. This was definitely the best burgers i have ever had in the UK let alone in Oxford. The burger was so flavorsome with mushrooms and jalapenos added in and the bun was lovely and crisp. The chips were also unique and had a nice crunch. One of the best food experiences i have had in Oxford by a mile. excellent customer service, the staff were so busy but fast with our order and the prices are reasonable for a affluent area such as Jericho.

Nice burger and chips

I came here because of all the hype around the place. Unfortunately, I didn't share what seems to be popular opinion. The burgers are alright and it's cool that you get so much customisation with all the different toppings and sauces and whatnot but the end result was still just OK. I also found the chips to be particularly low quality. Having said this, it is very good value. Also, don't go if you're on a tight schedule, the first time I went, my order was forgotten about for quite a while and the second time, I stood around for 15 minutes past the posted opening time before giving up and leaving.

The food here is great. Well priced for the location and of high standard. The manager is friendly but sometimes I find the other staff not as helpful. Overall a fantastic place offering delicious food in a casual environment.

Outstanding food and great friendly service

Some of the best burgers in Oxford, very popular. Big, juicy, messy and on point. Chicken and lamb options are all halal, beef isn't at my last check. Lots of drinks available, free tap water. Cheesy chips are very tasty. On every visit I've seen very satisfied customers around me. Wings appear popular but I've yet to try. Great prices for everything on the menu.

The White Shark hot sauce is great! Had it with the mint and yoghurt sauce (on a beef burger) which was a nice complement. Service was friendly, and efficient.

Hasn't changed since we last went there 20 years ago, perfect.

One of my favourite places to eat. Can be a bit of a wait but this means you always get something fresh to order, a chat with the friendly staff and get to see your food made with fresh ingredients too. Definitely not to be missed in Jericho

Although I really wanted to love this place I'm afraid that I was very disappointed. On the occasions I went here, the food was pretty poor. The burgers take ages to cook and that would be ok if they weren't always cold by the time you get them. The chips are like tasteless cardboard, so I stopped bothering with them. They don't toast the buns properly so they too are cold. Peppers is massively overrated and I think some of these reviews are highly suspicious. Come on guys you can do better!!
